Threading on a rod helps other fixings like bolts and nuts to easily screw or fasten to it. The hardness of the Grade 8.8 Stud Bolt can be increased by heat treating. Heat treating leads to a change in the mechanical fasteners. It can increase its hardness, ductility, yield strength, and impact resistance. By heat treatment Stud Bolt Grade 8.8 can exhibit good tensile strength and can perform well in most environments and therefore it is useful in engines, motors, railroad equipment and processing equipment. Class 8.8 Stud belongs to the DIN 933 grade 8.8 standard. It is a structural grade and medium carbon steel stud specification. It can be heat treated by quenched and tempered methods. high ductility and workability. It is a metallic rod with threads on both ends. The threads on the studs are male and they attach to the equally sized female threaded parts on both ends of the stud. Grade 8.8 Steel Double Ended Threaded Studs are used for flange bolting or other applications where torching from both ends is necessary or desirable. Also used to stabilize structures, it can be inserted into different materials like wood, concrete, or metal either temporarily creates a steady base during construction or they can be installed permanently.
