Acorn Nuts have a dome shape on one end of the fastener. They are also referred to as crown hex nut or dome nuts. Stainless Steel Acorn Nuts are a low carbon based alloy with good corrosion resistance and high tensile strength. Stainless Steel Acorn Lug Nuts when used in combination with a threaded fastener and an external male thread, the dome end of the Stainless Steel High Crown Acorn Nuts encloses the external thread, to either protect the thread or to protect nearby objects from coming contact with the thread.
