Stainless Steel Square Washer is also called as construction square plate washers it should be used instead of round washer for timber building and concrete floor applications they are used with all fasteners for larger load distribution and bolting through a wall or timber. Square Flat Washers is to increase the size of a screw's bearing surface area, and reduce the surface pressure applied on the fastened object. Looseness can result when the bearing surface sinks under the surface pressure, so using a flat washer to reduce the surface pressure is very effective. Square plate washers have a larger surface area than round washers. Since it develops more friction when tightened against wood, hence this type of washer is specified for seismic applications. Square hole washer is designed to prevent the washer from turning relative to a square shaped shaft or rod. They are used in an abundance of different applications, but one popular use is with woodwork and timber construction. They are particularly made to go beneath the carriage bolt head in softer woods. This way, when you tighten the nut, the bolt head doesn’t spin and comes out of the hole. Unistrut square washer is used with bolts for load distribution, along with screw and nut. Square beveled washers are used mainly for faucet seats that are damaged or wore beyond stem travel; therefore the thicker washer makes up the difference. It attempts to seal the water flow from the interior opening of the seat, rather than the flat raised edges of the seat.
