ISO 4161 Nut is strong enough for use in most machinery and equipment, it is a medium-strength metric nuts which have serrations on the underside of the flange. With mild vibration the serrations stop the nuts from loosening in applications. ISO 4161 Flange Nut provides a few of the defining attributes of a washer. It is used to spread the load evenly to avoid uneven fastening surface of the operations. It also ensures that the fasteners are in place without moving about loosely. It can be used as a replacement to the washer and nut combination. Therefore, it is cost-effective and quality substitute for nuts and washers if your project is a large scale one. It is available in varying sizes to allow its use with several bolts, each with different dimensional standards. Another advantage of it is that they stop the loosening of electrical components and machining while still allowing the free parts to move freely. DIN 6923 ISO 4161 Serrated Flange Nut are hex nuts with non-spinning washers attached at the bottom. Below the washers are serrations which prevent them from being used with washers or on surfaces that can be scratched and help the nuts to securely fasten when vibrations are present. ISO 4161 Hex Flange Nut is the most commonly used mating part to go with a bolt or a parallel threaded screw. It is hex nuts with a wide flanged portion near one end that acts as an integrated non-spinning washer. It is used to spread the load placed on the nut over a wider surface area to prevent damage to the installation material.
