Jignesh Steel is one of the oldest & PED approved 410 SS Pipe Suppliers. It is available in all finishes and both seamless and welded forms. In addition to standard sizes in stock we also provide make to order sizes pipes & tubes by using premium quality raw material. 410 Stainless Steel Pipe is the basic, general purpose martensitic stainless steel that is used for highly stressed parts and provides good corrosion resistance plus high strength and hardness. Alloy 410 contains a minimum of 11.5% chromium which is just sufficient enough to demonstrate corrosion resistance properties in mild atmospheres, steam, and many mild chemical environments.
410 Stainless Steel Tube has good corrosion resistance to atmospheric corrosion, mildly corrosive environments, potable water and to low concentrations of mild organic and mineral acids because of its ability to form a tightly adherent oxide film which protects their surfaces from further attack. SS 410 Pipe proper hot work range is 2000 to 2200oF and to reduce the risk of cracking, it is suggested to be preheated at 350 to 400oF.
SS 410 Seamless Tubes can be hardened, straight chromium stainless steel which combines superior wear resistance of high carbon alloys with the excellent corrosion resistance of chromium stainless steels. The oil quenching of SA 268 TP 410 from temperatures between 1800°F to 1950°F produces the highest strength and wear resistance as well as corrosion resistance. A268 tp410 is used when strength, hardness, and/or wear resistance must be combined with corrosion resistance. For maximum corrosion resistance to chemical environments, it is important that its surface should be free of all heat tint or oxide formed during forging, annealing, or heat treating. Its surfaces should be ground or polished to remove any traces of oxide and surface decarburization.
