ASTM F467 specification covers the mechanical, chemical, dimensional, and workmanship and finish requirements, and the corresponding test methods for commercial wrought nonferrous nuts in a variation of alloys in common use that are considered for general service applications. When the ASTM F467 Nuts is tested it shall meet required values for proof stress, hardness, and tensile stress areas. ASTM F467m specification covers the requirements for commercial wrought nonferrous nuts in nominal thread diameters M6 to M36 inclusive in a number of alloys in common use and intended for general service applications. ASTM F467 UNS N06625 Square Nut is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum wrought alloy. It has an ability to resist stress-corrosion cracking and intergranular attack. It can be machined, formed and welded by using conventional methods. It is heat treated in the solution annealed condition at 1177°C (2150°F) for an adequate period of time depending on thickness of a section. It is acceptable for high temperature applications such as heat exchangers and gas turbine components. Due to its high corrosion resistance it can also be used in few acid process equipments and wet scrubbers. F467 Copper Hex Nut has excellent features such as lightweight, sturdy body, easy to fit, excellent strength.  It is a major industrial metal because it provides high ductility, malleability, corrosion resistance, thermal and electrical conductivity.
ASTM F467 Silicon Bronze Hex Flange Lock Nut is a high strength, engineering alloy that has excellent resistance to a wide range of corrosives, including fresh and salt water, most acids, alkalies, salts, and organic chemicals.
