It is one of the most common forms of high tensile material and it is usually stocked in plain finish or zinc. It can also be plated in many other coatings. 8.8 Nyloc Nuts also referred to as a nylon-insert lock nut, polymer-insert lock nut, or elastic stop nut, is a kind of locknut with a nylon collar that increases friction on the screw thread. 8.8 Grade Nut is a fastener with a threaded hole. It is attached to a bolt, screw or stud to prevent axial movement and offer a securing force. A bolt is inserted with aligned holes through two parts and a nut is then screwed onto the bolt. The rod of the bolt stops radial movement of the parts, while the head of the bolt and the nut together stop axial movement. 8.8 Pinion Nut can be safely remove and re-install on a 14-bolt. Grade 8.8 Hex Nut is been specially cut with the help of a steel cutting machine. The whole process is comparatively quick, and thousands of nuts can be manufactured within a matter of minutes. The hexagonal shape nut makes it easy to turn. With its six sides, you can turn a fastener just one-sixth of the process to make the next flat parallel. There are six flat parallels on hexagonal nuts.
